Happy 4th of July!

The very first celebration of Independence Day was in 1777, six years before Americans knew whether the new nation would survive the war. Now here we are, 232 years later, on our 233rd year of freedom, still celebrating the freedom we fought for then and the freedoms we continue to fight for now. As we spend time with our friends and families, having fun and eating, preparing to watch those fireworks as we did many years past, remember those who can not be here with us today. Those who have fought and continue to fight for our freedom. Those who have lost their lives to protect our freedoms that others have tried and continue to try and take from us. Remember who we are and remember why we continue to be the greatest country on this planet. We are free and we are independent. We are what everyone else wants. Tonight, as the rockets red glare, and bombs bursting in mid-air, remember, we are the land of the free. We are the home of the brave. God Bless America!
